This has probably been done by many before me, but the following is a 9"x12" test piece of terrain I did today. I'm always looking for inexpensive terrain options that still look the part. Although this test piece is rough, I think with a little polish this could work for any plowed fields I intend to make in the future. Not only does it have very fast drying times, but it also appears to be very durable.

Great job, but what's water putty.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and looks good. If you want to further the effect I suggest adding a very fine sand over the rows before painting which will add some texture to the rows.

Good stuff. I think I will have to give it a go myself.Almost too easy.
ReplyDeleteI'd plough it, good work.

Chris: Good idea, do you think I should sprinkle it on top or try mixing a little in with the putty itself? I have a couple bags of sandbox sand left over from the kids' box.
I can't wait to give this a try. I need to upgrade my terrain in FoG and I really like the results you got with this.
